2. General
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the TDDDG. Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purposes of the processing.
3. Hosting and shop system (Shopify)
Our online shop runs on the Shopify platform of Shopify International Limited, 2nd Floor Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Shopify processes the data arising in the shop on our behalf (for example order, contact and payment data) as well as technical access data when pages are called up (server log files such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type). The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). This may involve a transfer of personal data to other companies of the Shopify group outside the EU (in particular Canada and the USA); such transfers take place on the basis of recognised safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. 4. Cookies and consent
We use technically necessary cookies (for example for the shopping cart) on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All non-essential cookies and comparable technologies are only used with your consent via the cookie banner (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
5. Order processing
To process your order we process the data you provide (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number where applicable, order and payment data) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For delivery we pass on your name and delivery address to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery. Depending on the payment method chosen, the relevant payment service provider shown during the order process receives the data required to process the payment.
6. Personalisation and file uploads
For personalised products we process the wording you enter and the files you upload (for example logos or photos) exclusively for the manufacture and handling of your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The input fields and file uploads are provided technically by the Globo Product Options app integrated into our shop.
7. Product reviews (Judge.me)
To display and manage product reviews we use the service Judge.me (Judge.me Ltd., United Kingdom; an adequacy decision of the EU Commission is in place for the United Kingdom). After a purchase you may receive an e-mail asking you for a review (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object to this at any time.
8. Chat and AI assistant (Shopify Inbox)
For questions we offer a chat via Shopify Inbox (Shopify International Ltd.). When you use the chat we process your chat messages and the e-mail address you provide in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Initial replies may be generated automatically by an AI assistant; on request a member of staff will take over the conversation at any time.
9. Newsletter
When you sign up for our newsletter we process your e-mail address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
10. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
11. External links and social media
Our website contains a link to our Instagram profile. When you follow it, the privacy provisions of the respective provider (Meta Platforms) apply.
12. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated. Statutory retention obligations, in particular under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.
13. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner.
14. Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
15. Electronic withdrawal function (withdrawal button)
If you use our electronic withdrawal function, we process the data you enter there (name, order number, e-mail address) in order to handle your withdrawal and to send the confirmation of receipt required by law (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). The function is provided technically by the EU Widerrufsbutton Pro app (Visionz GmbH) integrated into our shop.
